Dux-Soup for LinkedIn Recruiter

Dux-Soup is not only an amazing LinkedIn automation tool for generating sales leads, it’s also a valuable tool for finding employees already looking for a new job!

Did you know that:

- 6 people are hired every minute on LinkedIn

- There are over 57 million companies on LinkedIn, with more than 15 million job openings

- Over 49 million people search for jobs on LinkedIn each week

- Over 12 million LinkedIn Members are signaling their availability to work

LinkedIn has long been a go-to resource for recruiters looking to identify and connect with potential candidates. However, many recruiters struggle to make the most of the platform, wasting valuable time searching for and engaging with the wrong people. In this blog post, we'll share some tips on how to halve your candidate outreach time on LinkedIn using Dux-Soup. Stay tuned!

The Differences between Recruiter and other LinkedIn accounts

Understanding the difference between LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms will enhance your productivity. Dux-Soup is very efficient, optimizing the functionality on each platform, but be aware that Recruiter does have some limitations.

It’s important to know you cannot send a connection request on Recruiter, the ‘Connect’ button simply isn’t there:

On the plus side, Recruiter provides you with many recruitment-related filters and the option to see who is looking for a job. Job seekers have an additional choice of only showing their “Open to Work” status if they want it seen by recruiters, so using another LinkedIn platform risks missing out on qualified candidates!

Dux-Soup has some workarounds in place for you. You can auto-view candidates, make notes, send InMails, scan profiles, enroll candidates into campaigns, and download candidate data. Using Dux-Soup will help you harness the power of Recruiter. Let’s take a closer look at what you can do.

LinkedIn Recruiter + Visit Profiles option

The ‘Visit Profiles’ option will let you do the following:

  • record profile data in a CSV file
  • lookup email if you use Dux-Soup points. Find out more about how to use Dux-Soup points to get emails, in our recent blog How to get emails from LinkedIn
  • send an InMail to 2nd/3rd-degree connections
  • auto-tag profiles
  • transfer profile data to CRM (available in Turbo)

To activate some of these features or all of them, head to Dux-Soup Options:

Next, write your InMail templates and set a tag for future reference:

For CRM integration options, please open the CRM setup page from Dux-Dash via https://app.dux-soup.com/web/connector. Find out how to set up Hubspot and Pipedrive integrations.

Note: even if you enable connection requests in the Actions tab, they won’t be sent. However, there are some ways to send a connection request, which we will talk about in this blog.

Once you have enabled all required actions, open https://www.linkedin.com/talent/search and apply target filters. You will see the green pop-up message ‘At your service’ meaning you can now launch Dux-Soup. So click on the Dux-Soup icon at the top-right corner and select ‘Visit Profiles’. Dux-Soup will now apply all commands you set in the Actions tab.

LinkedIn Recruiter + Scan Profiles option

Dux-Soup’s ‘Scan Profiles’ option is a quick option to record basic profile data in a CSV file, such as:

        -ID number

        -Scan time

        -Recruiter Profile URL

        -Public Profile URL

        -First Name

        -Last Name

        -Title

        -Location

        -Industry

        -Dux-Soup notes

The ‘Scan Profiles’ feature will create a CSV file in seconds, a useful option if you want to manually check the list, delete unwanted profiles and upload it back to Dux-Soup so you can auto-visit profiles. Also, you can send connection requests using the Revisit Data Tool. Learn more about how the Revisit Data Tool works in our blog.

How to send a connection request to LinkedIn Recruiter Profiles

Follow these steps to send connection requests to Recruiter profiles:

  1. Make a candidate search and use the “Scan Profiles’ option mentioned previously. You will create a CSV file in a matter of minutes.
  2. Download your CSV file from ‘Scan Data’ and delete unwanted profiles.

      3. To send a connection request, open Dux-Soup’s Revisit Data Tool:

      4. Upload your edited CSV file.

      5. Click on the Dux-Soup icon at the top-right corner, write your message template and click on the ‘Visit and Connect’ button:

Tip: Disable other actions set in the Actions tab and only leave the ones you need. For example, you can add an auto-tag when you send connection requests.

Dux-Soup will now start sending connection requests according to your Throttling tab settings. It’s up to you how to spread your workflow during the week - we highly recommend following our guidelines when sending connection requests.

How to add Recruiter profiles to a Dux-Soup campaign if you have Turbo

Dux-Soup Turbo offers a multiple concurrent drip campaign feature, so you can set up to 11 follow-up messages (after your prospect has connected)! Learn more about how to run smart LinkedIn campaigns with Dux-Soup by reading our previous blog.

Running a campaign from Recruiter is simple, all you have to do is to set a campaign in the Dux-Dash including the connection request. Make a candidate search, click on the Dux-Soup icon and select the ‘Enroll Profiles’ option:

Dux-Soup will schedule a connection request first if profiles are not connected to you:

Once they accept a connection request, the Dux-Soup queue will be populated by direct messages set in the campaign.

If profiles are already connected to you, Dux-Soup will schedule a set of direct messages for them straight away.

Important Update: Job Seeker is no longer an option on LinkedIn. Profiles looking for a job now have an #Opentowork badge.
